Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Hello! It's Patoriku here! And welcome back to some Uncharted! Today I'm going to write about Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible"
- T.E Lawrence

Personally I liked this game more than the previous ones. There was only one disappointment, the last fight with Talbot. Fist fighting with him was way too easy.
It was cool how Nate's secret was revealed by Marlowe, that he is not Sir Francis Drake's descendant. I had a little hunch about it, but now it was finally revealed.
Atmosphere was great and plot was interesting. Getting to see Nate's childhood and learning more about his past was really refreshing. Also I liked the ending, Nate showing his new ring to Elena and that hug was really great scene. Can't forget Nate and Sully moments. This game showed me how deep connection they have with each other and that was good.
Like previous game, this one had multiplayer option and also split screen option, so you have much more to play than just campaign.
Overall, I would give this game 8/10 rating.

Now we just have to wait for the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Hello! It's Patoriku here! Welcome back to some Uncharted! Today, I'm going to write about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. First of all, I apologize for not getting any good pictures for this post, so bear with it this time.
Like in the first game, main character is Nathan "Nate" Drake. Nate travels with Sully and an old acquaintance Chloe Frazer. Later in the game Elena makes reappearance.

Plot goes like this: Again, Nate is after some treasure. This time he is back tracking Marco Polo's journey to find Shangri-La and Cintamani Stone. With Chloe's, Sully's and Elena's help he goes on to this dangerous journey. Main antagonist is Zoran Lazarevic whose plan is to make super soldiers with Cintamani Stone.

This game was so well made. It was definitely better than the first one. I liked the atmosphere and scenery. Of course there is some romance too, between Elena and Nate.

This was the end of this post. Tomorrow post is going to be about Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Thank you for reading and see you guys later. Bye-eee!

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Hello! It's Patoriku here! Today I'm going to write about Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
I decided to play this game after seeing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End trailer, and sure it wasn't a bad decision. Nathan "Nate" Drake was a interesting character because of his laid-back, humorous personality and plain looking guy, making him a really relatable. Like a male version of Lara Croft!

Plot is really simple. Nate, descendant of Sir Francis Drake, goes after the lost treasure (El Dorado) with his two friends, Elena Fisher and Victor "Sully" Sullivan. Nate and Sully are old acquaintances and Nate meets Elena at the beginning of game.
While on this journey to find the El Dorado, Nate and his friends find out about the "curse" statue which can turn humans into some sort of mutated monsters. Nate and his companion decides to destroy this statue.

Personally I loved this game! Too bad that plot was pretty predictable, but characters made best of it!

Rising of the next monarch, Dark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sin

Hello! It's Patoriku here! Today I'm going to write about Dark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sin
"Are you... the next monarch? Or... Merely a pawn of fate?"  - Emerald Herald
Like it's predecessor, Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 2 is really well made game and most of all it's hard! I had lots of trouble beating this game, even normal enemies killed me like a hundred times!

Journey begins

Arriving to the Majula

The Lost Sinner boss fight
The Rotten boss fight
Old Iron King boss fight
Velstadt, The Royal Aegis boss fight
Meeting Ancient Dragon
Nashandra boss fight
Ending

The story takes place in the land called Drangleic and you're trying to find cure for your curse. As time goes by, you happen to kill lots of enemies and you turn out to be the next monarch.

Dark Souls 2 is really exciting game where you can meet lots of different enemies and boss fights are totally epic. Too bad you will die many times before you finish this game, haha! I also liked how the atmosphere was so dark and music really hit the spot, especially Nashandra boss fight theme song.

I was never good with magic and all that kind of stuff, so I focused to get high strength and dexterity. So I definitely prefer melee characters. And likewise, I can't deal with magic users at all! I did this really stupid thing in Aldias Keep. I freed Navlaan and he started to hunt me and well..he did kill me almost every time he invaded me. Don't make same mistake I did! Here's link so you can read about him! I so hate that guy...
Also, I found this link about Dark Souls 3 and how it's going to be released next year! I'm so excited..and just can't hide it!
This was the end of this post. See you guys next time. Bye-eeee!

Emotional Experience - The Last Of Us

Hello! It's Patoriku here. I finished playing The Last Of Us just a little while go and it sure was interesting game.
The Last Of Us is a game about surviving in a world where people have been infected and turned into zombie-like creatures. Story is told mostly about Joel's (main character) perspective and there is a few times when you can play with other characters (Sarah and Ellie).
Story goes something like this; Next morning after Joel's birthday there had happened an outbreak of a pandemic disease where people turns into zombie-like creatures. Joel's daughter gets killed and next scene is 20 years later after the outbreak. Joel and Tess meets Ellie and they get mission to escort this little girl to Fireflies (revolutionary militia group) because she is immune to this disease. Joel and Ellie starts off with a bad relationship, but while on this journey, Joel starts to turn back to what he was 20 years ago (nice and loving father) and starts to see Ellie as his daughter.

Joel 20 years later
Going after Ellie

Giraffe scene
Personally, I think this was a really good game. It had interesting storyline and graphics were really great. But the best part of this game were all those emotional moments, like when Sarah, Tess, Sam and Henry dies, Joel falling and getting impaled and rescuing Ellie from Fireflies. Those were just a few examples of the moments where you get watery-eyed. There was only a couple of things that wasn't so good about this game..like AI and minor lagging. AI's were not the smartest people, but still I enjoyed playing. I would give this game 9/10.

Thanks for reading this post! I hope you guys enjoyed it even a little bit! Keep on reading this blog! Bye-eee!

The Last Of Us

Hello. It's Patoriku here! Yesterday I bought The Last Of Us game and played it for a little while and I gotta admit that it's really well made game.
The Last of Us is a game about surviving after pandemic, where people turns into some kind of zombies, happens. It's pretty used idea, but I like it.
Sceneries and characters are all so mesmerizing and it's really emotional game, like when Sarah dies on Joel's arms. Can't wait to see what adventure Joel is going to have after all that has happened to him and human race.

Most likely I will play this game through today or tomorrow and after that I'll write more to this blog. Hope you guys will read that post! See you then. Bye-eee!

Praise the Sun!

Hello! It's Patoriku here! I've been playing Dark Souls for a while now and gotta admit, I'm still pretty confused about this games story. Plot goes like this: You're the Chosen Undead whose job is to travel from Undead Asylum to Lordran and kill Gwyn and all other bosses (Nito, Seth, Gwyndolin, etc.).
I decided to make a warrior and I have no idea why I picked Goddess's Blessing as a gift. Should have picked the master key.
There are so many tough enemies and bosses that this game reminds me of all those 90's games when games were really challenging. Anor Londo archers, Dragonslayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough boss fight, Blighttown and The Four Kings. Those where just examples. Even normal rats can make your life a living hell! Game developers decided to make hard, challenging game, and they sure did it.
Sceneries are so well made that it leaves you speechless. Especially Anor Londo. That place just blew my mind!
Leaving Undead Asylum
Ringing the second bell
Entering Painted World of Ariamis

Crystal Caves and ready to meet Seth the Scaleless
Pinwheel boss fight in the Catacombs
Gravelord Nito boss fight
Meeting Dark Sun Gwyndolin
Even though Dark Souls is hard game it's also really enjoyable game. I still have to beat Gwyndolin, The Four Kings and Gwyn, The Lord of Sunlight and then I have played this game through.
If you haven't played Dark Souls before, I recommend to go play it!
This was the end of this post. Thank you for reading. And remember guys, Praise the Sun!
Bye-eee!
